We take measurements, then prepare an individual pattern so the shirt is developed around you rather than a standard size. Fabric selection, collar and cuff choices, and how close or easy you want the fit all sit in that first conversation. A fitting is used to refine the balance and comfort before the shirt is finished.

What is the difference between a bespoke shirt and a ready-to-wear shirt?
A bespoke shirt is made around the individual wearer, while a ready-to-wear shirt is produced in standard sizes and proportions.
Bespoke work uses individual measurements and pattern adjustments, so collar, sleeve, body shape and length can be set to the wearer. Ready-to-wear uses standard size blocks and is faster to buy, which is often the more convenient option when a standard size already sits well.
Bespoke is more useful when standard sizes do not balance well through the neck, shoulders or body, or when you want more control over fit and details. Ready-to-wear is not automatically the weaker choice; it is a different method with a different level of adjustment.
